How do I search for a church and request information from them?
|
 Step One: Search for a Church
If you know the name of the church, then you can directly search for a church by it's name
or the City name or both. The other option is to browse for the cities and then select a city
to see all the churches listed. Once you do a city search, if you look to the right you will
also notice a list of cities that are nearby, incase you want to search for churches in other
cities nearby. A church with a  means
that the Church has an enhanced profile. In order to use
the features of the site, and view the enhanced profiles of the churches, you need to create a
free account by selecting the Sign Up link from the menu.

Step Two: Register so you can save your search results.
Once you register for a free account you will be able to save all your search results so the next time you visit our
site, you will be able to see the churches that interested you. As a registered user, you can also view all the
church details of an enhanced profile. If you are moving, you will also be able to request some additional free
services created specifically for families who are moving.

Step Three: Request more info from Churches
Once you select your churches, you can request for more information from the churches. Many of the churches
in the database have email addresses. If you select churches with an email address the church will be sent
your request for information by email. If it does not have an email address, you can printout letters
which you can mail. To create the request for information letters, please select the checkboxes
provided in front of your searched churches. All registered users can use this free service!

How can I get more information from churches I am interested in?
|
|
Once you create a free user account, you will be able to create a list of churches you are interested in.
Once you have the list created you can click on the Request Information from Churches link and you will
be able to complete some details about yourself and your family and request specific information from churches.
Many of the churches in the database have email addresses. If you select churches with an email address the
church will be sent your request for information by email. If it does not have an email address, you can
printout letters which you can mail. To create the request for information letters, please select the
checkboxes provided in front of your searched churches. All registered users can use this free service!

Is there a fee for using this church search?
|
There is no fee to use this service and there is no fee for a church to add their information.
The service is supported through the gifts of the Selected real estate agents of the EXODUS Network,
the Christian relocation specialists. There is also no obligation to use the EXODUS Network free services,
though they are available if you would like to move with peace of mind using highly recommended and
personally referred agents.

Can I sign up to receive the Welcoming Community Newsletter even though I am not a Pastor?
|
|
Certainly! The Welcoming Community Newsletter is a newsletter which is delivered by email 8 times a year.
Each issue contains one article for churches, one article for schools and one article for neighbors! You
may sign up for this newsletter by clicking on the link "Sign up for Welcoming Community." All churches who have registered will receive the newsletter.

Who can add a Church to the database?
|
|
If you don't see your church listed in our database, then you can apply to add your church information
if you are authorized by the church to represent them. If you are not authorized to represent the church
we will store your personal information and send a request to the church to authorize you. You may
obtain authorization by giving us the church’s email address and phone number. We will contact the
church and requesting that a church staff member or office bearer log onto the site (we will provide
a user name and password) and either enter the information themselves or authorize you to represent
the church in this matter. Thanks for understanding. A church account can be created by clicking on
Add /Enhance Your Church from the menu.

How can I add my church?
|
Step Two for Church Leaders: Enhance a Church
If you are a Pastor or a leader in the church we encourage you to "enhance your church information" so
families will be better able to learn about your church. There is no charge to enhance your church’s
information. Once you enhance your church profile, it is marked with .
If you click on Add my church, you will be guided through a simple process. This is a completely free service for churches and there is
no charge for people to use the database to search for churches. Our goal is to present a comprehensive
database of churches which will allow more people to come to Christ! We do ask that you will put a link
back to our database on your church’s website so that families who are leaving your church will be able to
locate a new church in their new community. We also ask that you encourage your denomination to contact
us to add the information from all the churches in your denomination to the database.

Why should we add our church?

This database is accessed by hundreds of families who are searching for churches throughout the US and Canada.
Having your church information accessible in this database will provide one more avenue for people who are
searching for a church to find you.

Our church already has a website, why should I be included in this database?
|
|
Your own church website is great for giving more in depth information to people who are interested and
we have created a place for you to include a link to your church website on our database.
The beauty of the USAChurchSearch and the CanadaChurchSearch though is that all the church information is
readily accessible by city and in the same format so a family looking for a new church does not have to spend
hours searching through many unrelated websites to gather the information they need to begin making decisions.
Our websites also have our unique relationship-building tools included so that an interested family can email
you and request more information from your church in a very simple manner.

What does it cost a church to be included?
|
|
There is no fee for a church to be included in the website. We are interested in making this the most comprehensive tool
available so that it can best serve families searching for a church. We do ask that each church listed place a link on their
website which says "Moving? Find a Church" which links back to our database so that families who are moving can use free
church search. It has been estimated by some people that UP TO 30% of the people who relocate do not reconnect with a
church! We have designed this database to provide services which will help reduce that number!

How can we add all the churches in our denomination?
|
|
We would like to add all the churches in your denomination in one file upload. For additional help with this please call the EXODUS Network at 800-395-8556.

Our denomination already has a church search on its own website, why should we also be included on this database?
|
This website is intended to reach people who may not be reached through your own denomination’s website.
We are striving to promote this website to many people who are moving as well as others who are searching
for a church. We are not in any way competing with your denominational site, in fact, we have even created
a way for you to add a link back to your own site when you add churches. This is simply an additional way to
get exposure and to reach more people!

Is there a cost for a denomination to add their churches to this database?
|
|
We are interested in adding as many denominations as possible to the database. We do not have a specific
price to add the denominational data, but we project that the cost for adding each church is somewhere
around $2.00 per church. We would be very thankful if the denomination would be willing to partner with
us to help cover the costs of importing their denominational data.
|
|
How is the information in the database kept up to date?
|
|
We request that each church check their information at least once a year to ensure that it is accurate.
We also request that our Selected Agents update the information for any of the churches in his local region.
|

Can I link to this database?
|
|
Yes, in fact we are hopeful that every church that adds their information to our database will place a link for
the database on their own website. We have created several different logos and banners for you to choose from.

How is this database supported?
|
This database is supported in several ways. The EXODUS Network Selected Agents (REALTORS) sponsor the database in
their local region, we ask that denominations help support us when we import all their denominational information,
and we also are very happy to partner with individual churches.

What is the EXODUS Network?
|

The EXODUS Network is a REALTOR referral network and Christian community relocation network.
We refer moving families to thoroughly pre-screened REALTORS of utmost integrity and honesty.
We also provide resources, such as a Church Database and A Christian school search for the Christian community.

to move with peace of mind, can receive support from the Christian community and can find their niche

seeks to provide extensive community information, a church and Christian school database and resources specifically focusing
on the Christian community.
To provide REALTORS®, who qualify as Selected Agents and Christian Community Specialists, expanded opportunities to serve buyers
and sellers.EXODUS also seeks to support REALTORS®in the pursuit of excellence, as servants of Christ in their vocation.
To challenge and provide resources to the broader Christian community; encouraging them to create welcoming communities
for families new to the community and/or for those who have newly joined the family of Christ.

How does EXODUS CHOOSE AGENTS?
|
The EXODUS Network is selective about the agents we give referrals to. We are unlike other referral services in that we do not make agreements with entire companies.
We choose specific agents to handle our referrals and we prescreen and check references for each agent who is associated with us.
Many Selected Agents are referred to EXODUS by customers who have been pleased with their service. Before joining the network, each prospective agent is interviewed
and submits information about his or her training and production, as well as the names of several of the families whom s/he has recently helped. EXODUS contacts these
previous customer/clients to inquire about the quality of service this agent provided.

|
We would love it if you would refer an agent to our Network. We are continually adding REALTORS and are very encouraged when people refer agents to
