The purpose of the program is to provide each Kalamazoo Public School graduate with the opportunity to attend post –secondary education with up to a 100% tuition scholarship. All students who graduate from KPS, are residing in the district, and have been KPS students four years or more are eligible. Kalamazoo has always been a great place to live, work and attend school. Now there is even more reason to be excited about our community. Our civic leaders "think outside the box!" An education is one of the key ingredients to success and this Kalamazoo Promise program makes a college education a reality for all students!
The Veenstra Team is very active in the Kalamazoo Public Schools Neighborhoods. David publishes a neighborhood newsletter 8-10 times a year for 4 Westwood neighborhoods (serving over 5000 homes) and sends another 1500 newsletters to families throughout the greater Kalamazoo and Portage community.
