I am working on a new strategic plan for our local Christian school with a group of volunteers.  We have started by evaluating our mission and then looking at some of the challenges and opportunities that we will face in the next few years.   We are considering the question, "Who are we missing?"   How will we reach a broader audience than the one we are currently serving?

One of the groups that schools can reach with the opportunity for Christian education is families who are moving into the community.  The EXODUS Network has been working with these moving famillies since 1993 when we started providing moving families with Christian community information along with the  opportunity to connect with a professional REALTOR that we pre-screen and evaluate before we make the connection.  Our service helps people avoid having to say “I wish I had known about this school BEFORE I bought that house.”   If you are aware of a Christian school and decide to send your kids BEFORE you make a housing decision, then your housing decisions can complement your plans.

Our Christian School Directory, ChristianSchoolSearch.com, introduces families to Christian Schools in the communities they are moving to.  Is your information available for them to find?

1. Go to ChristianSchoolSearch.com now and make sure that you add information about your school so that moving families will be able to consider your school as an option.  You have the opportunity to provide information about grades, classes ordered and even test scores so that new folks can find you and contact you.
2. When you hear the families are moving, please use the refer a family link on the website to make sure that we assist these families in connecting with the Christian community in their new community. Our services are completely free and the family will be able to manage their move from a free move organizer once you refer them to us.  Our resource tool for this month is a flyer that you can give to families that are moving.
